Having finally returned to the gym on a regular basis, I'm once again enjoying the stranger side-effects of serious strength training. There's a certain feeling that you get about an hour after you finish that's a bit odd if you aren't expecting it. Imagine wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt that's about two sizes too small...it's not necessarily uncomfortable, but you get a sense of being slightly compressed at all times.

Whatever you do, don't rent Battle Royale. It's not that it's a bad movie (especially not by Japanese cinema standards), it's just that you're going to wind up in one of two situations: One, you wind up disturbed, or; Two, you aren't disturbed, but you know you should be, which is all the more disturbing, creating what would be a pretty nasty internal feedback loop.

...of course, that last post completely ignored the pictures from the various figments of my imagination that I've been travelling with. Maybe that 'end of the month' line is less funny than I thought it was.

Right, the winnowing process has begun. I've got my pictures from the last four months down to less than a hundred, with only about fifteen percent being landscapes (shocking, given that my pictures are pretty much four fifths hot landscape action shots). Now all I have to do is: Produce 'Photos' templates; Update the front page, and; Add requisite witty comments. Gold. This should be done by the end of the month for sure.
